What is Foxy Quiz?

Foxy Quiz is a free multiplayer quiz game with 1500+ questions and 19 unique round types. 2 to 6 players, locally on one screen or online via a room code. Perfect for parties, family nights or team building.

How many players can join?

2 to 6 players per lobby. Play locally (one screen, pass it around) or online on your own devices via a short room code.

Is Foxy Quiz free?

Yes. Everything is free during beta. Local play always stays free. Online multiplayer will later come with an affordable subscription (a few euros per month), and only the host needs it: the rest of your group plays along with no account or payment. No ads.

Which round types are included?

19 different rounds: The Time Bomb, Wheel of Chaos, Quiz Blackjack, Tower Builder, Connections, Higher / Lower, Timeline, Name That Tune, Name That Person, Bamboozle, Bizarre Facts, Truth or Lie, The Wall, N in a Row, Bezzerwizzer, The Weakest Link, Poker Hand, Take or Destroy and The Bet.

Is there a Christmas version of Foxy Quiz?

Yes, the Foxy Christmas Quiz: six Christmas rounds from Foxy Quiz, Music, Hunt and Lingo, for 2 to 8 players. It's a separate game, so a room code from the Christmas quiz won't work in the regular quiz.

What age is Foxy Quiz for?

Three difficulty levels: Kids (for children), Family (for grandparents through teens, broad and accessible) and Expert (broad but hard). No nerd quiz: we keep it playful.

Which devices does Foxy Quiz work on?

Everything runs in the browser on desktop, laptop, tablet and smartphone. No download, no app store. Works on Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.

Is this an alternative to Kahoot or Mentimeter?

Foxy Quiz targets party use (friends, family, parties) rather than classrooms or business presentations. More round types, more humor, less school-feel, but works perfectly for team building too.

Can I add my own questions?

A question editor is on the roadmap. For now you play with the built-in library of 1500+ questions that we keep expanding.
